I'm really glad to hear the clarification about dealing with inspectors and the extra little bit about how they can be flexible, but not completely flexible. It's something customers really need to hear.

Indiana we installed those $300-$500 can fixture all on a control 4 system all controlled down in multiple lighting panels. Those were the hardest cans to install. Glad to hear we weren’t the only ones to struggle.

Great video. You should do more Pro 2 Pro videos.

Frankly the tube part of K&T and the use of knobs for changing direction and protecting the relatively weak wire looks pretty cool. The trouble starts with soldered junctions and the much older wires low current carrying ability.

When is 12V wiring for LED based ceiling lighting going to happen? Seems like heavy recessed lighting IC rated cans should eventually go exctinct.

I live in northwestern Arkansas, my home is on a hillside. How do I stop the eventual foundation fail/ hill slide?

I’ve been electrician for 33 years and I’m now retired but I still enjoy doing this work. I informed my customers I am not licensed and tell them they need to pull a permit. Because all my work is word of mouth they trust me and decline to pull a permit. Should I still considered getting a license and insurance? Thanks
