How to Change the CSC for FREE and Enable Call Recording in One UI 6 - Samsung Galaxy devices

Hi there! In this guide I will show you how to change the CSC region of your Samsung Galaxy device, for FREE to get updates quicker and enable Call Recording. It works in Android 14 / One UI 6.1.

🧐 Steps:
1. Go to the "Settings" of your device.
2. Go to "About phone" and "Software information".
3. Find the "Build number" and TAP REPEATEDLY until "Developer options are enabled".
4. Go back to "Settings" and then "Developer options".
5. Enable "USB Debugging".
6. Download SamFw from the website linked above.
7. Right click on the downloaded file and "Extract all...".
8. Run the installation file inside the folder.
9. Next, next, next... until "Finish" installation and "Launch SamFw".
10. Connect your phone with the PC. Make sure Samsung drivers are installed. If not, install Smart Switch for PC from the link above.
11. Back to the PC, click on the SAMSUNG logo on the top of the tab.
12. Then click on the "ADB" tab.
13. Click on "Change CSC".
14. A tab will appear on your phone. Tap on "Allow".
16. Type the CSC you want to change to (or select from the list, if not empty). If you have the international model and want to get updates first and enable call recording, THL (Thailand) is the CSC you are looking for.
17. Click on "Change".
18. Your phone will move on its own, don't worry about it.
19. After restarting, you will have the new CSC enabled!
20. For update-related issues you may always check the supported firmwares and CSCs from the SamFw or SamMobile databases.

Before connecting your phone to your PC via USB cable you need to remove your SIM card from your phone!! That's why you didn't get a list of CSC codes in the drop down list in the SamFw FRP software tool.

I have a s23 ultra to which i changed the csc from global to mx, havent had a single update since changing but i did got caller id. Now i have a Fold 5 that i got from samsung us and wish to have caller id in this one too but im afraid i may lose updates too. Can i switch back and forth when there is a new update?

As of Feb 23 2024 The "Change CSC code" Option has been moved from "ADB" to "MTP"

I have A54 and it has XSG CSC, when I connect it to wifi I see the pop-up that said: you have to update your service provider. I have only one restart button and after restarting it I see that my CSC change to FWD. How can I change it to the previous one?

Great tutorial. this worked on my Note 20 Ultra even with latset security update(01/04/2024) as my phone was IT version that did not had native call recording after changing csc to india INS it Enabled all hidden Features including native call recording.

In South Africa the S22 Ultra is STILL sitting on the 1 October security patch and it is already MID DECEMBER! Our phones haven't gotten the November or December security patch nor did it receive the Android 14 and One UI 6 update. People now resort to changing their phone's CSC in order to get these updates. It's a pity that Samsung doesn't care about their customer base in Africa.

Hi. I have a S21 ultra g998b with eur/eux csc and when I try to change in THL says that no supported.
When I'm visiting samfw and searching my model I'm seeing the csc.
What can l do?

Hello. I changed my csc of my device with the method you showed on your video to get one ui 6 update. And it didn't work. Now I want to go back to my default csc and install one ui 6 stock rom for my phones country. I heard that if stock roms country and csc is not same I wouldn't get any official update on my phone.
