It uses gaz to charge the battery. Someone tested it and it comes out to the same cost as if you were to charge it at a station

Nothing crazy. The use case is to get the the battery charged at home, then you use the battery control mode to keep the charge until you need it. I used it yesterday, needed to go to Paris, kept the battery level at 100% until I was in the city.

Mine wont charge the battery when I enable it, does it only preserve the charge only if you have at least that much of charge?
