Choose between the different eDrive modes – BMW How-To
Показать описание
Learn in this video how the Driving Experience Control influences the driving dynamics characteristics of your vehicle. Besides the known driving modes, you can use the eDRIVE button to switch between the three modes AUTO eDRIVE, MAX eDRIVE and BATTERY CONTROL.
By using various driving modes you can adapt your BMW to different driving situations. As well as the Driving Experience Control switch with its SPORT, COMFORT, ECO PRO and ADAPTIVE settings, drivers will also find the eDRIVE button which makes it possible to set the characteristics of the hybrid system.
Press the eDRIVE button to select the different hybrid modes AUTO eDRIVE, MAX eDRIVE and BATTERY CONTROL.
AUTO eDRIVE is activated whenever the vehicle is started via the Start/Stop button. AUTO eDRIVE ensures that the engine and electric motor interact to optimum effect in all driving situations. For best economy use this mode in conjunction with ECO PRO and active guidance in the navigation system.
In MAX eDRIVE the vehicle is exclusively electrically driven as long as the charging state of the high-voltage battery is sufficient. Press "Configure MAX eDRIVE" and check the box "MAX eDRIVE by default". This way the vehicle starts with MAX eDRIVE as default mode, when the high-voltage battery is sufficiently charged.
In BATTERY CONTROL a certain state of charge of the high-voltage battery can be maintained. Press "Set Target Value" and select the desired percentage. This way you can conserve the electric range for a later point of your journey.
The symbol for eDRIVE, MAX eDRIVE or BATTERY CONTROL is shown in the instrument cluster.
