Seems this was a good day for both of us; me and my dad go thrift shopping a lot, we don't have crazy reseller pricing where i live, but the price of the shoes make up for that (i'm talkin' 160$ Asics becoming 500-600$ (in my currency) kind of make up), so we (it's me most of the time) thrift shoes to genuinely wear them, we were lucky today to find a pair of New Balance fresh foams in my size, they're nice! been hunting one for two years! other than that: we picked up an iPod classic 5th gen for 10$, got a charger for one o' my camera batts for 10$ as well, i even got a millennium falcon model for 10$ too! (not lego, just some plastic one, still decent quality!) and a couple other things.

All-in-all: very good day.

I'd like to suggest a different take on the thrift store sneaker collection: instead of limiting yourself to $20 and then a limit of the profit you make, why not just have your measure of success as the total profit you make per shoe and how fast the shoe moves? Just the difference between the price bought and the price sold as well as how fast the sneaker sells from when you list it. That could be a lot more relevant and freeing to you to take things further, as well as giving people a clearer idea of how quickly stock becomes cash

Found a pair Jordan 11 Heiress “velvet” size 7’s at goodwill for $3 today. I also have an authentic jordan box from another pair of shoes my friend gave me and it’s that same gold jumpman box that the jordan 11s use. A pair is $549. A wild find.
