My mom had alzheimers before she passed and absolutely loved Goodwill. She came home all excited once because she bought a pair of pajamas that said "Victoria" on them so she thought they were Victoria secret. I didn't have the heart to tell her that someone named Victoria just had their name embroidered on their pj's. It made her happy and she thought she found a deal and that's all that mattered.

You can find some good stuff in the thrift store. I use to work for this rich family. When the mom passed away the family packed her whole house up & dropped the stuff at the Goodwill. They cared less to hold on to most of the stuff. . furniture, clothes, shoes, coats all really good! This woman had good taste. Some people just get rid of things they have no use for. Why throw it in the trash when it may serve someone else.

When I was thrifting at a local vintage/thrift shop, I saw these super unique suede, tri-colored heels. It turns out *I thrifted brand new, vintage $1000 designer shoes from the 80s and got them AND the heel repair for $28.* They still had the stickers on them. I love good finds. :))
