Ford F-150 : How to turn on/off the cargo lights

Demonstrating how to turn on and off the cargo lights in a Ford F 150. Cargo lights are sometimes called truck bed lights .

Is there a dash indicator lamp that corresponds with the switch being activated? I’m wondering if so, then my dash lamp is out.

Think I have some sort of electrical problem. Cargo lights come on without turning them on. Can I somehow disable these lights until I can get it looked at?

Why won’t it turn on when I hit the button? (Driving and parked in park it won’t turn on) but it’ll turn on when the doors are opened and when in reverse. Bad fuse maybe?

I have a 2015 Ford F150 lariat. And my cargo light won’t shut off and I have to push the button and it won’t shut off someone said it was on while driving. Thanks

The question is, how do you know if they are off or on? I feel like a light on the dash should come on to let you know so you aren’t driving down the road with them on.

I had only 1 question on your cargo lights. Do you leave them on our off when they bend you over the tailgate?

Do you happen to know how to do this on a 2003 F150? The truck bed lights just seem to stay on. There's a little wheel-like deal that rolls up and down next to the headlight switch. The purpose of this little rolly thing is to brighten the lights on the dash when it's dark and/or turn on the interior cab lights. Somehow, we got the exterior cargo lights stuck on. If you know how to fix it, please let me know.Thanks!

Anyway to hot wire it so you can turn them on while driving

How do you turn them off when one of the doors are open. Pushing that button doesn't do it.
I've drained my battery twice, not realizing that the lights stay on ALL THE FREAKIN TIME while a door is open. WTH
