The Paint Job is Finished..You won't believe the Difference!! Mercedes W124 300CE

A few more panels to do and then reassembly on my Mercedes W124 300CE. It's a reversal of Beaty and The Beast.. with my C124 finally looking pretty and elegant again. This has become almost a full restoration!

Even before, you couldn't miss the understated, timeless, elegance of the original design - so missing with a great many modern designs where more is never enough. From day one it was crying out to be rescued from being run into the ground or broken up for spares. A stunning result after all your hard work, and I think you're right with aiming for the original style wheels. Loved these when they were new, love them now.

Seriously, Jack, the wheels that are on it look great! They’re sporty, without being hoonish, and suit the car really, really well. They give the car a bit of a performance look that’s totally in keeping with it being a Merc! I can’t imagine why you’d change them.

Jack, In the mobile app, go into the camera's settings by hitting the wrench (spanner) icon at the top right. Then in the first, large batch of settings under the Setup heading, scroll down to `Anti-Flicker'. You can then toggle between 60Hz (for NTSC) and 50Hz (for PAL). That should stop the flicker from LED lights

So well done - you have dragged that Mercedes back from the brink and despite all its ‘kicking and screaming’, you have proved it to be very worthwhile. Great colour too.
