Well, if anyone's still not pursuaded by the benefits of wet-sanding then they never will. The ridiculous level of improvement in smoothness and reflectivity from the original orange-peel laden bumper is beyond words. Absolutely amazing result. I learn a lot from your videos PoV and this is another one to add to the armoury of knowledge. Cheers!

Had the exact awful respray on my bumpers. Followed your instructions to the T. My God the poor paint work now looks better than OEM! Thank you so much for educating me/us 🙏🏼❤️

This video is so good, i have bought exactly the same mop and thought it would be rubbish and now after watching you, and CLEAR instructions with no edits at important parts

I say THANK YOU
I have a black car as well and will be doing this to save a respray on the door

Nice one for taking time to explain clearly to us who are not professional and giving in depth information

All the best to you sir

Thing is, people are afraid to do this, as putting sandpaper - even high-grit wet sandpaper - to a car's paint freaks people out. But your video is so detailed, it gives me the confidence to at least try it. Very well done!

I painted my car last weekend and made sure I laid down an extra coat of clear. Makes wetsanding much easier without burning through. I was able to start with 800 grit, then 1200, 1500, 2000, then a machine sand with 3000 grit.

Hands down the simplest and clearest video explaining this process. Im about to receive a new bumper for my black car. Pre primed ready to paint and clear coat. That process im nervous about! Thank you for your lessons on cutting, buffing and polishing.

Should never use a bucket chances are you will pick up some contamination and scratch the paint, best to use spray bottle with warm soapy water

Probably the best video I've seen so far. Tried your techniques on my car door that had some orange peel and it now looks absolutely perfect.

Thanks for this (and your many other videos). This video gave me the confidence to give this a shot on a used car I purchased where the back bumper had been poorly sprayed. Unfortunately the paint job wasn’t up to it - although its massively improved it to a gloss finish across 90% of the bumper the clear coat in some places was wafer thin and willl need to be resprayed, a risk I knew going in as I am no worse off. I at least know my only option is to paint myself or get a shop to do it - going latter purely based on time.
Can’t stress enough how much gold is in these videos you do. Have used the techniques you give on my car and motorcycle, saved money and time but importantly enjoyed adding a new skill to the list.

Excellent video. Thank you very much.
I've been tempted SO many times to finish the 'job' after the compound stage as some compounds are simply excellent but as soon as I've applied the polish, I'm always glad I did. You just get a mirror shine that looks so high end. In case anyone was wondering..
