Hey Mike, keep pumping out more videos. You are strengthening us and emboldening us. Also I noticed that comments were turned off on your 15 July 21 upload. Please keep them turned on. May Father keep you safe as you spread the Truth.

God's grace is sufficient. It's Christ's obedience and Christ's righteousness, not ours that saves. HE did it once and for all--not us.

I don't know which "Church of Christ" Michael Siemer is contending with here; I do know that the teachings quoted by both parties of this discussion are NOT universal in the churches in the United States that put "Church of Christ" on the sign in front of their buildings and on their letterhead. Never have I heard that strange beard doctrine, and the "silent Holy Spirit" teaching has never been universal and is fading away now. (The movement which evolved into the "Christian Church" and "Disciples of Christ" and "Church of Christ" traces its heritage through the tremendous outpouring of the Holy Spirit at the Cane Ridge revival in 1801.) I first appointed to pastor a church among these in 1974, and this association and ministry has continued since then, so I am well aware of what is taught. It would be better if the title of this video were changed to "Exposing False Doctrine of a Church of Christ"; the doctrines quoted as being those of the congregation in question are certainly out of line with Scripture.

Sadly, here in rural North Carolina, at least in my area, we only have Baptist churches and church of christ. Both in denial of the holy Spirit. Hence why I don't go to church anymore.

So sad people believe that the gifts have been done away with.
Father and son are one. We are to be on as they are one. No dividing Christ from Christ. In or out.

“I’m not into the law.”
Do you keep any of God’s commandments?
Which commandments do you keep?

It would have been better if both of these people had sat down and studied the scriptures to better understand each other's convictions. This approach at the building doorsteps is really just about making claims without examining what Jesus and the Apostles taught.

You ask a question like a Democrat Politician. You ask the question and don't give the person a chance to answer. You ramble on and on while making no sense of the conversation. It's not about the subject. It about you and your belief.

The cultish guy seems to have more spiritual discernment than the Pentecostal, even though he’s under a false doctrine !
It’s amazing how things can turn around !

I'm just seeking the truth, but I too believe baptism is essential. After all, I've seen many verses that I believe speak to this. Romans 6 gives a pretty good explanation of why baptism is a necessary part of salvation. The sinner's prayer is not found anywhere in the scriptures. However the scriptures, old and new are filled with allusions to, examples of, and commandments for baptism. Putting on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is a singular event the apostle Paul delineates in Romans 6 beginning with his discussion on sinning willfully; "what should we say are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase may it never be how should we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into his death? Therefore; we have been buried with him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the father, so we also might walk in newness of life; for if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of his resurrection, knowing this that our old self was crucified with him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with so that we would no longer be slaves to sin. For he who has died, is freed from sin. Now if we have died with Christ we believe that we should also live with him knowing the Christ having been raised from the dead is never to die again death no longer is master over him for the death that he died he died to sin once for all, but the life that he lives, he lives to God even so consider yourself to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore; do not let sin reign in your mortal bodies so that you obey it's lusts...". Pretty explanatory... We are buried with Him and raised with Him through baptism. Obviously, if you don't believe your just getting wet... but it is most definitely a singular event. I am not the judge, and I don't pretend to be. I go to a church where grace is employed. There are many who don't ascribe to water baptism. Most of those have been baptized though. All that being said I have no problem calling someone who has a misunderstanding of baptism brother or sister, as I said, I'm not their judge, but after taking this chapter into consideration I could not sleep at night if I wasn't baptized. I have no problem believing that baptism and baptism is implied to verses that don't necessarily reference baptism in that specific verse.Mathew10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." And Luke12:6-9 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God."). God bless brother in your love for the truth.

This guys says he is “keeping the whole law” but then says you don’t have to stone someone for working on the sabbath or caught in adultery. So ironic how those who spew nothing but error accuse someone else of false doctrine. Lol @ keep the whole law. Pick a Bible and a study and stop reading your preachers writings.

Way not letting the man talk. If you’re gonna “confront “ a CoC Christian at least know your Bible and what you’re talking about… your ignorance of the scriptures came through here. You did yourself no favors with those of us that know the bible
