I made a quilt from dollar store fabric last year and Thanksgiving. It looks fabulous.

I got the fist blanket for a relative's doggie like five years ago for $1 and believe it or not, it's still holding!! That dog has chewed, teethed, grow up and still has his first blankie!!❤

I think that the fabric there makes quilting and other crafts affordable for all people, quilting supplies at a quilt fabric store can be really expensive. I’m all about making crafts affordable to all.

I was also sceptical about dollar store fabric BUT was pleasantly surprised. Yes there are fugly fabrics but I found some that will be good for project fabrics 👍.

I have bought the fabric and I think it worked really well. I made a baby quilt with the fabric I’ve bought.

I think the fabric would be great for learning new techniques. I’m not concerned with messing up “starter” fabric 🤷🏾‍♀️

I bought some doggie design that washed well and made a doggie mat with it. Still has color and has worn well.

I bought some shark printed fat quarters. I starched it heavily and made a baby quilt to welcome my third grandson. It’s been washed many times already. It’s still holding up and it’s super soft.

I agree-use your best judgement to pick the project that fits with the fabric type that you have.

My sister -in- laws found the fabric and shared it with me. This is good to use for beginners, learning new patterns and if you giving quilts away. In rural areas where there are no fabric stores this is a great find.

My Dollar Tree has expanded their crafts but so far everything is still the dollar twenty-five. No five dollar jelly rolls! I’m so jealous! 😉. I do like the fabric for practicing my machine quilting skills.

Thank you for being so honest about the fabric i think for what your getting its a great price still cheaper than walmart i think its agreat deal for beginners working on say placemats etc im happy they are making their craft section alot bigger thank you

That was interesting information. I would say useful as well. Our dollars do not carry fabric.

The fabric you have purchased is the exact same fabric I purchased and they are from Walmart. It seems to me that maybe dollar tree buys last season Walmart fabric maybe 🤔I also was able to find some fat quarters that I literally just saw at Hobby Lobby! 👍🏻 So I'd say, Yes please!🤗 I agree, not super high quality but great for zipper pouches, table runners, coasters I have purchased Walmart fabric and made baby blankets and they have held up great! I think I'll pop by my DT and see what I see and make a baby quilt for my granddaughter. Thanks for sharing.

Aughh! You gave away my secret! While their fabric isn't top quality, it's still pretty good quality for most projects.
