Why gel manicure won’t last ?!

We need a nail tech like you in my town. Everyone is a nail tech, hairdresser, lawn maintenance, construction, hvac because that's what's offered at the technical college. There are soooo many independent nail techs, I can't find someone who knows about building structure, just slapping acrylic or gel over tips and we'll see you in 3 weeks! My nails are screwed over years of trying to find a competent tech. 😢

I struggle with the free edge. My gel nails stay on for two weeks which is honestly great for an at-home job. So I'm doing all the steps, I think... But I see professionals online doing manucures that stay on for 3 or 4 weeks!

lifting for me was mostly caused by not doing the prep right and even hormonal changes.. since I know the timing an d right steps for my own nails (!) they last until I remove it, before it was possible to pop it off without any harm even after one day.. no skin on the nail plate (use cuticle remover gel) and dehydration + a strong primer and ONLY flexible products was the gamechanger for me, also a very very careful application with never coming too close to the sidewalls and tuning a liner brush for those areas.. (I have very very thin and flexible nails, they don't chip or break but bend in all directions 😅)

Peeling on the free edge 😭😫😫 never with tips but always with gel polish on my natural nails 😫 this is one big reason I use tips even though I have very pretty dainty looking natural nails 😕

Yea my nails grow slowly and when they finally long it breaks and I lose all my length also they grow crooked 😩

You need nail glue to glue the gel down seriously! None of it stays on! I use nail stickers now, polish wobt stay on! UK 🇬🇧

I have been dealing with nails that peel upwards for years. No extensions, just my natural nails. The top layer of the nails just... flake off like scales starting at the free edge. It's like the layers of the nails delaminate.
