I had the EXACT leg / muscle conditions in my calves. In a week eating HCLF plant based diet, a HUGE change, no pain. In 3-4 weeks later, no pain, up to 2-3 miles, 2-3x a week moderate speed running. I have been vegan / raw / vegetarian so the transition was not an issue. But, I didn't expect such a sudden change. Amazing. Now, after 11 months, I dropped ~17 lbs, and a few percentage in fat. Working out daily. Transitioning to mostly raw days, whole fruit smoothies with flax and kale (daily). Steamed potato and veggies dinners (lots of potatoes and veggies). Kick it.

Thanks for the info docs! My chest pains went away when I went from vegetarian to vegan in 3 to 4 weeks time, while I still smoked tobacco and used tiny amounts of vegtable oil( < a teaspoon a day ). I believe I ditched 6 eggs and about 300-400 grams of cheese a week. I have since also quit tobacco and oils. Though I obviously had blockages near the heart, I also had one clod in my big toe due to a physical injury from the impact of the nose of a safety shoe. Which turned my entire toe nail blue to the extent that it came off a month later or so ( it grew back though) and it paralysed the outside nerve of my big toe, causing severe walking and standing impairment in particular the first week or so. I came up with a whole bunch of theraputic drills to restore mobility and sensation, which paid off after a while. But though I could already walk properly when I went vegan, it does seem to have improved even further without any additional therapy other than my usual physical exercise routines. Even some busted mini arteries in my face cleared up, some of which had been there since college. I must admit it is phenominal to see how well the body can heal given the right conditions. Also when I was still a vegetarian I would avoid really sweet things, like sodas, fruit juices, candy, adding large amouts of sugar to recipes, because it would give me this incredible sugar rush, eating normal fruits or raisons was never a problem though, but I'd have to avoid really sweet things like dates or dried figs cause that would get rushy, I don't have that anymore now.

Twenty years I've taken Hawthorn herb, for Angina, often needing it 3Xdaily. After the Dr McDougall diet no more Hawthorn herb and NO CHEST PAIN. Thank you Dr McDOUGALL.

Wonder what the fat percentage is for the baked mac ? Prolly 15 20 percent for that dish . Still a very low fat meal I think made with fiber rich nuts .

In this video McDougall states that you can live on sweet potatoes and water alone. I thought it was regular potatoes that you could live on solely, because they have all 9 essential amino acids and sweet potatoes do not. I thought that when McDougall spoke of living on potatoes he was always speaking of regular potatoes, and not sweet potatoes. I'm just asking for clarification, not to catch McDougall in an inconsistency, because I am a staunch follower of his!

I have a question.. I work fast food, and i started wearing a fitbid, my bpm average is 115-120 for about 4-6 hours daily . Can I consider this a resting heart rate for this long of a workout? Also, can this increase chances of atherosclerosis?

C2C is kind of an out-there show with a lot of paranormal and occult themes in addition to conspiracy theories. It's fun, but not sure about this being a positive development.
