Dreamworks may not have the history and longevity of Disney and the consistency of hits that Pixar once had; but when they have a hit, they have a HIT.

The part where she's talking to the other robot for advice, I love how at that point she sounds more like a stressed out parent than a machine.

I like that it has an unusual structure, it's very episodic and feels like "moments" in a life instead of plot points in a movie.

This movie took me out emotionally as a mother. The symbolism of self-sacrifice, not wanting to let you kid go while also wanting them to succeed, giving up your own well being to help them thrive. Damn.... it just hit so hard. I loved it

You nailed it, Alan. The director told his team (of which my brother in law is a part) that he wanted this movie to be "a Monet in a Miyazaki forest."

As an elementary school librarian, I'm so happy to see this book turned into a movie. The reason it has multiple endings was because they tried to fit two books into this movie. And there are multiple jumps in the books to speed up the story. It's a book for early chapter book readers, and you have to make sure they are entertained every moment to keep them reading. Hope this clears things up. Can't wait to see it!!

My boyfriend and I ugly cried while watching this movie. Super heartfelt with beautiful visuals and score. Incredible movie and I hope it does well in the box office so it shows the animation industry that we want “original” films like this.

As an adoptive parent, this movie was balm to my heart. I think I enjoyed it more than my 6-year-old son did. Can’t wait to see it again!

The part that broke me the most was at the end and it's the voice change that really did it. I'm talking "UGLY cry" full on sobbing 😭
*Happy robot voice* "Hello, I am ROZZUM 7134"
*deeper, rich mama‐voice* "...but you can call me- Roz."

Barring Puss in Boots the Last Wish, this is the most I’ve loved a Dreamworks movie in 13 years.

I watched this movie yesterday and in my review I said: Dreamworks woke up and decided they're gonna make this movie a masterpiece. And they did. They got up, ate and left everyone else in the dust. I loved everything about this movie. Everything. I cried a lot of tears, multiple times.

I’m with Jonathan here: 10/10. Gorgeous visuals, a score that is discrete when it needs to be and emotionally amplifying at other times, stellar VO work. My wife and I cried at multiple points. This is an all-timer and will have big staying power IMO.

"Might not be suitable for a sensitive toddler." Is very accurate, we have a sensitive toddler and he tried his very best to watch the whole movie without being overloaded. I legit almost cried near the ending.

This wasn't on my radar but seeing all the high praise that it's getting, I think I'm gonna go see it Sunday.

I am currently attending a small town college (when I say small I mean there is no Starbucks here) but we do have a movie theater, and because there isn’t much to do here we all go watch movies.
It’s a small theater with one screen and maybe about 10 rows of seats and they only play one movie a week. But it’s one of the best places in the world, I can’t wait till this movie comes to my theater!

I'd actually gone to the theatre last night to see Megalopolis and wound up staying to see Wild Robot too. And I'm so glad I did! First of all, this film is absolutely GORGEOUS to look at. Dreamworks are the absolute masters of light and shadows in their animation. The story was lovely and made me cry more than once. And the voiceover work was just perfection. This film made me have all the feels. 9.5/10 (for the minor story stops and starts)

Might be the best kids/family movie I've ever seen. Took my three year old to the theater on Saturday night to see it. It was so good, I cried three times. I brought my daughter to see it again with my wife/her mom; it's an elite movie! I cried seeing it again, and my wife cried four times. We left the theater feeling good and full of love

Love Jono for the “it’s a word that I’ve always read, but have never said.” lol, been there!

Bill Nighy's character isn't in the movie long, but he has an absolutely killer line that gave me chills. "He has a chance if, where his wings end, his heart can pay the balance"

I think the structure is just because it’s based on a kids book that covers a lot. Loved the book as a readaloud with my kids, so I’m excited for the movie.
