I would run that battery 10 hours, I think you'll find that it won't produce 10ah. It is too lightweight for a lifepo4 battery, there is a weight to capacity ratio that this is not making for ten amp hours.

I was looking for a smaller one to fit with a larger LiFEPo4 battery in a Group 24 battery case. This will backup the 50Ah battery already in the case. They will both fit! And $39 is a great price INCLUDING shipping!

I used the same size battery from a different random chinese brand to make a battery box from a harbor freight 1800 apache case with power poles and an amp/volt meter and charging for my fold out solar panels. Works really well.

Looks good but I still cringe whenever I see those bare terminals on the top of the battery. I had a grounding strap fall across those one time and it was not pretty. I always tape those up.

I'm using 12V 12Ah LiFePo4 battery since 1.5 years, and works very well. I used it to astrophotography first, but now I'm doing some HAM work. I'm using an old laptop and IC-705 for an afternoon, and it barely drained.

What do you need to charge it? A standard battery charger is not recommended with these.

How does the voltage regulator work in the 705 and similar radios? I suspect it is a linear regulator but if it is a boost converter of some type then I would think it would pull more amps as the voltage drops in order to maintain constant power consumption.

Just picked up two of the 12ah. Was only a few bucks more than the 10ah. And had a 15% off from Amazon.
Question is, they are only 12amps continuous. I'm not sure if they will work with my 100w rig. Ft100 says 20w output at 100w. Would that destroy these?
