was having heel pain from past 3 months but I ignored that. 3 days ago I searched for heel pain treatment. I found some of the videos about stretching Exercises and Icing. I followed the videos. I did stretching and icing and believe me or not, my pain cured the third day.

If anyone’s lucky enough to read this. I had plantar fasciitis for nearly 6 months. Tried every stretch, iced it, rested my foot as much as possible. Nothing worked. I thought I was never getting over this thing. UNTIL.. I bought the copper compression plantar fasciitis night sock. I’ve used it now for over a month. I fall asleep with it on. And guess what? My pain is gone and my foot actually feels normal again. This is the honest to Gods truth. Try it. It really does work.
You’re welcome! ✌️

Had this condition on both feet (one year one foot, second year second foot) and it hurt like the dickens. The pain was so much that I began limping and nearly fell a couple of times. A physical therapist assistant gave me some exercises and he also massaged the worst part of my PF till I almost begged for mercy. The effort was worth it, though, and my condition improved dramatically. Just to make sure I purchased a pair of New Balance walking shoes that are specifically made with people like me in mind. I wear these shoes 100% of the time, when I walk and even when I go out on social events. The best shoe ever!!! Best to you all in dealing with this condition!

Thank you SO much for your well explained reason for the pain. I’ve been dealing with this for a while now and in the course of my daily work my footwear had to be taken on and off repeatedly and then when done on location I wasn’t tying up my boots. So the orthotics and the boot were not able to assist as they should have. Something that would have got missed in an explanation to my doctor and physio therapist. Thanks again, I know what I have to do!

Thank you for showing me about this. I just had an episode last night for first time, and it was SO INCREDIBLY PAINFUL. I thought that I had nerve damage or broke my heel. I am not one to feel pain too intensely, but this was like STEPPING ON A LAND MINE. So, I went to Urgent Care, was finally seen, and they diagnosed it as this. So, I plan to be aggressive and heal it.

It seems every comment here is for sales and to advertisements. There are people here with the real problem that need solutions!

Thank you! I've been dealing with this since I was a teen, and it's prevented me from getting a job. I have an appointment with a pediatrist for the first time this month, and the idea of getting this treated is exciting. I'm glad to know some of my options ahead of time as well.

Great video. Been struggling for months with doctors saying it is gout. But it has never felt like that.

here's several ideas for plantar foot
Make sure you rest your feet
Consider Wearing supportive footwear
Use ice on your heel
Try ibuprofen or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug to lessen pain and inflammation
Wear night splints
Do stretching and strengthening exercises.
(I read these and the reasons they work on Rohon foot care website )

It seems that stretching the foot would cause more inflammation?

Should I stop walking until this pain permanently goes? I started walking 6k steps in order to reduce my weight. May be overweight is causing more stress on my feet.

If yer using the broken bone analogy, then stretching and using splints at 90 degrees is illogical and contra indicated. This would pull apart the fascia apart and further cause more inflammation. My heel hurts more when I stretch the arch and calf. Please reply to this.Thank you.

Has anyone experienced the pain spread upwards so it feels like it's the ankle?

I ve having this pain for 5 or 6 years. Sometimes it stops, but it comes back as soon as I play some tennis. But I don't want to stop playing tenis since I enjoy it a lot. So I play again and the pain comes back... Is so annoying
