Here are the 3 ways we invested to grow our net worth from $0 to over $1 Million in 11 years. This isn't a prescription or a game plan for you to follow. It's just our story of how we did as little as possible to invest our money so we could retain as much time and energy as possible for the rest of our life. Passive investing is the only way we want to invest for the time being, but I understand that may not be the case for everyone! And for some people 11 years seems like WAY too long to wait to reach that magical 7-Figure mark. For others it seems impossibly fast. The goal with this video is to share our experience and help normalize talking openly about money together!

Target date funds are usually too conservative and the expense ratio is way higher than a simple S&P 500 fund which will outperform over the ling haul

If you had to start over now would you use a Target fund or a Robo investor?

I do have a question though, B. When I look at my stub on paychex flex, all I'm seeing are my portions of the contributions. Do employers put their part in all at once or quarterly or....?

Amazing how you kinda followed a “reverse glidepath” out of bonds as you’ve accumulated more. There is actually some research that backs up this approach.

wow, 100% stock 0% bond, that's risky. I thought I'm risky with 90/10
