Props to Mitsubishi keeping the prices low. I hear they have a 100, 000 mile powertrain warranty too.

That’s a great buy. The 2.0L engine is the same one used from the lancer. Bulletproof.

I bought a brand new 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander sport SE last year due to affordability and dependability. 16k miles and 1 year later i can say it was a very wise decision. Its a 10 plus year old design but it's tested and dependable!

It is a good value for a new car though, don't see many new vehicles at that low of a price.

When I was 12 yrs old in 1983 my parents brought home a brand new Mitsubishi Starion turbo in fire engine red. It was the first one ever delivered to our area in North Georgia. That was the best car we ever owned and it was handed down to my older brother and then me and then it got T-bones by red light runner. It was a fantastic car and I honestly think it would still be around today if it wasn’t for the crash

Mitsubishis are pretty darn reliable. Plus 10yr 100k. You can’t beat it. They do the basic job. Provide reliable transportation. Oh and you can get a 2.4 4cyl in the GT and SE trim for a few more bucks. It’s pretty peppy.

Not the newest suv on the road but it’s super reliable and with available awd it’s nice to have it.

I have a 2022 AWC - definitely spring for the LE trim or higher on this one. For only a few hundred more you get Carplay/Android Auto, black exterior accents and wheels, and red leather stitching on the steering wheel and shifter.

A great car, very practical and capable.

I don't know what the love affair with push button start is. We own two cars, one with one without. It hasn't improved my life in any way.

Just got the ralli art edition and I'm in ❤ jumping from a jeep compass to a Mitsubishi was a totally different feel. And the drive in sports mode is just amazing

The Outlander sport has to offer manual transmissions!

Mitsubishi is the greatest! Mine is still going strong way past it’s loan and warranty! Nothing but maintenance cost has been needed so far and I own a 2012. My only problem…I can’t buy anything newer than a 2019. The year they stopped offering a manual transmission. I hope they bring them back.

Owned one from new since 2013. Been used for 104000 km (maybe 64k ish miles?) of mostly city driving, my biggest complaint is throttle response, sometimes it took a good second or two for it to respond, otherwise it does the job.

I do hope the CVT will be okay since I heard it’s similar to what Nissan use and we know the horror stories surrounding that.

Both of my parents own Outlander Sports. A 2015 and a 2019. They've been extremely reliable. I'm looking at all of the subcompact CUVs for myself. I really like the Outlander Sport. This 12yr old design seems to compare favorably to the all-new HRV and Corolla Cross. Plus, I think the Outlander Sport has a better-looking exterior than both. The MPGs are lacking in comparison, but it's worth the compromise if I just flat-out like it better.

Bought my dad a fully loaded GT and I’m about to trade it for a Hyundai Tucson because the Outlander Sport has no auto door locks (nyc hijackings), no digital speedometer (we have lots of speed cameras here), no Nav (only CarPlay), no panoramic roof (previous GTs used to have this) and it has a TERRIBLE reverse camera/screen (it’s so dark it’s impossible to see during sunlight)

Bring back the manual transmissions! Please! I can’t buy you till you do.

Pleasantly surprised, as previously I thought 4WD lock was a novelty in the Jeep lineup of crossovers!

Bring back the stick shift! I’ll trade the stupid tv backup camera.

Ahhh basic ass radio that I have in my 2020. I ripped the radio out of a 2018 outlander and installed it plug and play. And it’s a kenwood. Also I took the leather wrapped steering wheel. Apple car play stock now no mic though.
