B7 Chord - Guitar Lesson

Показать описание
The B7 chord is the 5 chord in the keys of E major and E minor.
There are other ways to play B7 but this is the easiest. But just because it is easy doesn't mean it doesn't sound good. Included in this video are even simpler versions of the B7 chord.
Thanks for watching!

This is the first chord I struggled with on guitar. It seemed impossible, but eventually got it. The next difficult chord I ran into was Bm. I can form the chord and it sounds good, but I can't do it fast enough to play in context with a song yet. I will.

Thank you for the simplified versions of that main B7 chord, which is challenging for me at the moment. I am trying to learn to play "Blue Christmas" by Elvis Presley and you have to be able to switch to it quickly and I am not comfortable with that yet, so the simplified chords will do for now. Granted, they don't sound as full and rich as the full chord, but as you say they can be a doable substitute at least.

That alternative was rather useful since I am missing my pinkie on my fretting hand; wish someone would produce an alternative shapes chords diagram for three fingered players. Looked at Django Reinhardt but whatever he was doing was away over my head.
