I remember the steam apocalypse sales! I remember entire weeks of great deals that it literally sends the internet into uproar. It would be veritable events where memes were born. The Lord and Savior Gaben meme was propped up by rapturous gamers, celebrating the arrival of steam sales like they would the second coming. We were very happy, but we were also very poor because of the multiple recessions that plagued our entry into the job market.

It used to be a bit of fun too since they had to cycle game discounts so one day, it was like 30% off but the next it was like 50% so you never knew when to pull the trigger so you might just we have to wait to make sure it's the lowest it'll be! Part of me hated it from FOMO but part of me was like, I got the biggest deal because I was patient.
