For all those saying he spent more. I needed this demo for a furnace condenser line that snapped from a pan.

$6.45 JB Weld water

Vs

AC Tech telling me it would cost $7k to take apart furnace, lift it, and replace pan 🤦🏾‍♂️

Improvement suggestions: (1) Patch the hole with duct tape before application to prevent putty getting pushed inside the pipe and causing an internal blockage inside the pipe (2) wet fingers frequently during application for easy molding of putty and prevention of sticking to your skin (3) test the leak repair by putting a paper towel under the leak (success if paper towel remains dry) (4) putty dissolves in alcohol so clean fingers with mineral spirits or alcohol based hand sanitizer.

JB Weld Water Weld: This product is made for unpressurized drain pipes. Does NOT work on potable water pipes which are pressurized. Product packaging sates "Great for plumbing" which is misleading.

Oh yeah that stuff works I had pin holes in my water pressure tank and had to wait 3 days for a new tank I shut the water off mixed up some JB water weld stuck it on the pen holes and it held didn't leak a drop until I could change the tank

Wetting your fingers helps with the smoothing process.

I have cleaned a customers bathroom before kneeling on the floor to fix a sink. I couldn't believe how people are willing to live in a bio hazard and not think twice about it. Now I expect it because I have seen so much nastiness over the years. Thank you momma for making me clean as a child!

If you live with a woman and didn't clean up more: I fear for your safety and wish you the best

A new trap would have been cheaper and a more strong permanent fix.

If I could reach the pipe I would replace that pipe section, JB weld it if I have no other choices.

great job on the pipes buddy. does JB weld make a paste that cleans off mold from shower/tub LOL. note to self clean surrounding area before filming😂😂😂 thanks for the video!

This is a really good video showing how to use JB WaterWeld. I am assuming he used that badly corroded ptrap pipe simply as a demonstration and not as an actual fix as that would make no sense.

Just replace the P-trap .. same price or cheaper than the temp fix

Just wandering Why you didn’t just replace the rotted pipe since you already had it off and went to Home Depot?

I'd use plumbers putty in the same way then wrap it with duct tape, much less toxic and expensive.

Why would you use that? A whole new p trap costs less than the water weld.

personally. i would have just bought a new P-trap

You probably spent more on the jb weld, than it would cost to change the pipe with new pvc one

I wouldn't touch that without gloves
