What if VEGETA Got ULTRA EGO Early? (WhIMs #32)

I did one of these for Goku and Ultra Instinct, so now it's Vegeta's turn! In this new What if Mini, we'll be discussing what may have happened if Vegeta trained for the Hakai earlier on, unlocking Ultra Ego much earlier in the story!

The scary part of hakai is that it doesn’t even kill you, you just get erased. You don’t even get to go to the afterlife. Welp no ones ever gonna come back from a hakai. (Unless they use the super dragon balls of course)

Ultra ego sounds like a Vegeta's pride sweat and tears as a saiyan go into one form and just like beeurs he gets a boost from taking it damage and a Saiyan gets zenkais from neer death so this the best form that represent Vegeta's arrogance and pride.

So up to now Vegeta has refined Super Saiyan Blue to a level Goku hasn't, learned an incredibly powerful Yardratian technique, can fire off hakais like Beerus, and now can use GoD powers to turn himself into Broly-Lite. Did someone raid a crypt, because holy heck is the prince getting a lot of bones thrown at him in Super. Love it.

Ultra Ego seems rather neat as an idea.

It really leans into Vegeta's character qualities to make him a stronger and more interesting fighter.
I hope they don't ruin it later by making it normal power up like they have done with so many other forms.

Ultra Ego Vegeta vs G.O.D Toppo would have been neat to see during TOP, and really Vegeta having Ultra Ego just make thing easier for the Broly Movie and Moro Arc. Although Goku should unlocked Ultra Instinct Omen or Prefected Ultra Instinct before Granola. Anyways another good min what if, and looking forward to the next video soon.

I feel like a cooler way to end Moro would've been for Vegeta to charge up some sort of hakai fueled galic gun, but have Moro go ahead and try to absorb it. However he just disintegrates from the inside.

Also a crazy idea I got from this video is what if Broly learned Ultra Ego o.o

Vegeta getting a God of Destruction form and it being called "Ultra Ego" sounds like something straight out of a fanfiction.

While the colour for the form still has yet to be revealed, I do like the idea of the form having purple hair and gold eyes. Purple hair since the form utilises the Power of Destruction which is often displayed as purple, and gold eyes since it's also like the opposite of Ultra Instinct which has silver eyes. Either way, I still can't wait to see what they'll do with the form next.

Edit: The colours have been announced! And while he doesn't have the gold eyes, the form still looks great. :)

Tbh the Hakai wouldn’t even be able to allow for beings to be brought back via the Dragon Balls since their energy and presences were currently absorbed within Moro. However, besides that, this was utterly *FANTASTIC! Great job!*

Just saw some of the most recent chapter involving Ultra Ego. Seems like the form has an effect on Vegeta’s mentality and personality. He seems to be less of the calculated battle hardened warrior we’ve come to know and more of a battle hungry berserker, though there are moments of clarity during his fight they get overshadowed by the battle lust he seems to now be drowning in. Something tells me that while Ultra Ego is definitely powerful, it’s going to need some work and refinement before it can be safely used to defend his home.

Also, something just for this What-if, but if Vegeta never got Blue Evolution then does that mean his Ultra Ego is actually a bit weaker here then in the manga?

I can imagine Vegeta creating an energy blast with a hakai ball center to shoot at Moro for him to eat so he gets nasty little surprise.

New what if idea: What if the majin buu saga happened before the cell/android saga. It would be interesting to see how it would be if cell had some majin buu, dabura, and kai dna.
