Using Streamyard I do both options. I just do it as if im live. The two balances each other out. Love them both. Pre-records offer the guests more flex in a schedule.

I have done both and confirm LIVE STREAM is a cost and time saver. Winner! However, in some cases, due to the nature of your content, it may demand produced video. So yeah, do both...just beware of costs vs. time

I recently moved and I’ve been unable to successfully upload video footage I would have had no issues uploading at my prior location. For this reason, I’ve thought of live streaming my next session to see if that bypasses the issue. Any feedback about whether bandwidth is more efficient live streaming vs uploading an entire video after the fact?

When you live stream to YT does it automatically save on YouTube or so you have to do it manually

Live stream is great if everyone involved is on top of their game. People that are goof prone and/or work with other people that are gaff prone really need to be shooting for and working with post editing. People can have plenty of talent at what they do, but their performances, setup and/or other people involved are not disciplined. Thus people that post edit are often necessary.
