The Xbox 360 holds up well in 2023 and because of the 360's massive game library, there are many great games that are enjoyable today. Today you can find Xbox 360 consoles and games for it cheap, and this is why you need an Xbox 360 in 2023.

Man, I played my 360 so much back then. And now, I just started playing it again. Just about done with Red Dead, and starting Arkham Asylum. This console is amazing

My favorite console by FAR. Bought one again a few months ago and have been using it non stop. I personally think it had the best games as I don't really care that much about graphics( which today's developers seem to be obsessed with, 4K this, 4K that) story and gameplay are what do it for me. Also, almost every good game that came out during that era felt fresh and new. Splinter cell conviction and blacklist, red dead redemption, gears of war, far cry 3, left 4 dead, Medal of Honor, army of two, so many great games that still feel fresh until this day. In addition to the Xbox 360's amazing UI, it truly is an amazing console.

I just got a factory sealed, brand new original xbox 360, the big white one with a date of production of April 2006. I like the look and feel of the OGs better than the slims, plus it is super nostalgic for me as I was 13 in 2006 when it came out. If you do not run them for over 3 hours at a time, they typically will not have many issues. The main issues was prolonged heat exposure causes the GPU solders to melt and separate. But if you only play it for an hour or two at a time you will be fine. But no one in 2006 did that haha. But I added the extra fans anyway. I also put new thermal paste on the chips when I unboxed it before even booting it on, as it had been sitting for 16 years. It was amazing to let that thing see light for the first time ever in 2023. 2006 - 2008 we got Halo 3, Modern Warfare, Fallout 3, GTA 4, and World at War. It was the pinnacle of the gaming industry. I was not doing my homework those years haha.

I'll tell you a story:

Back in 2014, during thanksgiving, my dad went out to buy some things since it was black friday. He went to one of our local shops and saw an xbox 360 E holiday bundle (it came with kinect sensor, kinect sports, kinect adventures, and forza horizon), he also saw an xbox one. If I was there, I would have told him to buy the xbox one, but I wasn't, so he ended up getting the 360 E because he said it was on sale and came with games and a kinect sensor. Also, everytime I asked him to buy me a game for the 360, he would ONLY buy kinect games, so I ended up only having 3 games for the 360 E, and the rest were all kinect games

My Xbox 360 S is still running strong even after how bad I treated it. Left it on my dusty small desk on wheels with a messy room filled with trash. I was just becoming a teenager. It still runs strong today. My console will be 12 years old in October of 2023. I am just now trying to get a 360 game collection started. Finding a shelf to put the games on.

I have this exact slim model. Still works, no issues, and it's still fun to play. Got it in middle school and haven't looked back.

I think what's great about it is it doubles as a gaming console and DVD player since I have a large collection of movies. Still an amazing console years later!

Have owned my 360s for 12+ years. A BEAST of a console.
Downloaded evey game when Free game/games of the month (they did multiple games ea month at the end of the 360 life as new gen came out) and to this day. I enjoy so many games and always have something to play.

I have an arcade model from 2008 with a 20gb hard drive and Kinect. No issues to this day, and I can still sign into Xbox live and have my achievements all sync. Yesterday, I played black ops 2 on it for the 1st time, and it didn't feel like a game from 10 years ago.

i have the 250gb model S model and never filled it up. still runs perfectly 12 years later. i remember seeing kinect demos in a shopping mall and thought it was so amazing. 12 years later the camera sits there collecting dust having barely been used.

My children are now 7 and 9. They've been playing xbox 360 for 5 years. We have 3 in total. Ps2 will always hold a special place in my heart but hard to beat the 360 with game availability, range of games and the controllers. Love playing the 360 on our old sony trinitron crt tv.

My Xbox 360 Slim got the red dot of death which is disappointing but I'm currently waiting for another Xbox 360 to get delivered. This is one of my favorites consoles so I hope this one doesn't break too.

As much as I love the ps3 the edge has to go to xbox 360, it had so many great games that were fan favorites as well as exclusives. Till this day I have both my PS3 & Xbox 360! 💯🎮

I still have a gloss black slim, still looks and works perfectly. It's the best looking 360 they made next to one in this video. I still keep it around for kinect games and testing out 360 games that I won't want to put into my One S. Games are still cheap for the 360 but I predict in 5 years they will start to go up as more and more get thrown away and MS stops selling some in digital format. I am old enough to have seen several console cycles and this is just what happens.
