can I just say that I sincerely appreciate that no matter what, Emmy places no moral judgment on any of the food that she makes or tries on the camera. there are so many YouTubers out there who would have made a big deal about how "unhealthy" a deep fried burger is, even if they liked it, and there's just none of that here. it's 100% appreciation for the craft and ingenuity and creativity that inspired the recipe for the burger that she gets to enjoy and that's all. as a fat guy myself it means a lot to me. a food channel that's generally not worried about moralizing about what food someone eats 💕 thank you Emmy 🙏

As a born and raised Memphian, it’s nice to see someone of her reputation come her and recognize what Memphis has to offer outside of the reports on the news.

The crazy guy in the background created a sense of menace throughout the entire video.

Chip shops (chippers) here in Ireland sell 'batter burgers', i.e. battered and deep-fried burger patties. And when it's served in a bun with toppings, it's called a 'wurly burger'.

I can't wait to share this with my dad! He told me about this place when I was growing up. Memphis is my birthplace but we moved to the country (kind of between Nashville & Memphis) when I was in grade school. He can tell me his stories again about the burger place with famous grease : ) thanks Emmy

Hey! I lived in Memphis for years when I was going through my cancer treatment as a kid at St Jude's. Dyers was a staple of mine whenever my family would take a trip to Beale Street. Them and BB King's.

2:30 in the morning here in South Africa and contemplating to go get a burger at mcD's. Emmy makes food look so good.

The contrast of the ambiance and Emmy’s upbeat personality is hilarious. There could be a hold up as a bank and she would carry on as if nothing is happening 😂.

Somebody is TWEAKING 😂 Good job completely ignoring it! Anyway, I’ve never been to Memphis but maybe one day so thanks for the recommendation! I greatly enjoy a greasy burger on occasion.

I grew up in North Alabama and in Decatur, Alabama is where the famous Penn's Burgers are that cooked their burgers in the same grease as when they opened with the same toppings on the burgers, fun fact Elvis used to send for Penn Burgers back in the day. It's so great to see such places still in operation. I will have to check this place out the next time I visit Tennessee.
