Alec Baldwin Asked About Halyna Hutchins' Condition Minutes After 'Rust' Shooting | TMZ

Alec Baldwin was deeply concerned over the condition of Halyna Hutchins just minutes after she was shot on the set of "Rust" ... as revealed in newly released police bodycam footage.

In the video, obtained by TMZ, you see Alec sitting with Dave Halls, the movie's AD. Baldwin asks, "What's her story?" in asking about Halyna -- and another crew member tells him things aren't so good -- then a cop describes how the bullet entered the right side of Halyna's body and exited the left.

As I said from the beginning, this was a series of oversights from multiple people that all lead to a tragedy that should never have occurred. The armorer should never have had live rounds on set. Baldwin should have checked his firearm for live rounds, and there should have been more medical personnel on sight just in case all else failed.

Baldwin did not mean to kill her. I don't know why some idiots thought he did. It's obvious he bears tremendous remorse and guilt about her death. Just look at Amber Heard for someone pretending to be distraut. There are some emotions you can't fake.

Treat all firearms as if they are always loaded.
Never point the firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger, until your sights are on target and you've made the decision to shoot.
Know your target and what's beyond (or in front or on either side).

Multiple rules broken and a tragedy like this happened. Accident? Likely... Negligence? Definitely.

If you watch his police interview he is in complete shock when he finds out she passed. This is so sad, and I hope they figure out how they live bullet got into this situation!
Let’s be honest, there is not a chance the Alec Baldwin meant to shoot this woman, could you imagine thinking that you have a gun that is completely empty and there is no reason to believe there would be a bullet in there and then you shoot someone who you are working very closely with. What a freaking tragedy!

WTF....at 2:47 of the video after Baldwin asked for a cigarette from one of the crew, a woman can be heard asking Baldwin "Are you sure you don't want a cigar"?
