good comment, the fact of the matter is that the more MP you have in a camera, it becomes more grainy (since the sensor on mobile phones is so small). beside, what do people do with photos from a phone? they post them on Insgram and add some weird effects.

As an iPhone user, this phone looks fantastic and I would be proud to own it. The only gripe I have with it, is the camera, I use my iPhone camera a ton and it's unfortunate HTC fell short on it's implementation.

Seems just like a well put mix of several different phones...the speedy Andriod software, the smart Windows Live Tiles copy, the efficient BlackBerry 10 swipe, and the sterling look of an iPhone, the oversize of a Samsung phone, the usual Beats audio...not really too many great and innovative ideas, but still well placed and in the least bit a challenge for the other top Smartphone Competitors. (BlackBerry, Apple, Samsung, Windows, etc.)

I'm from the Netherlands. Maybe it depends on the phone you have (where it's from) The software updates can be different depending on where you live.

Oh and Approx yes international and US versions do have different hardware. SGS3 for example. If i recall they only got dual core whilst international got quad. They also had different screens and also had LTE whilst UK didn't as we didn't have 4G. So yes different countries do get different hardware sometimes

I got an update on my HTC One today and it improves the camera even more. Camera is brilliant BTW

@danialmakedo. They didn't say the same thing at all. Premium design means materials used and shape and size. Georgus design means looks and style. How is that saying the same thing in two different ways?

The rear facing camera isn't "4 megapixels" it's 4 ultrapixels and that's why it lets in more light. Can see how well you reviewed it..

Off contract 32Gb $600, 64Gb $650. Carrier pricing varies, but generally around $200 for 2 year contract.

@Nazmi Turk well the ultra pixel camera actually is 4 mexapixels the reason is the make low light pics way better because the lower the mp the better the lowlight the reason the pics look crisp on the One while only having 4 mp is htc's software sharpens the image after the shot to make it as good as an 8 mp camera

Well Here is my phone cycle. Sprint HTC Touch (WM6.5)> HTC Touch Pro 2(WM6.5)> HTC Arrive (WP)> Lumia 920. ;) Keep in mind contract periods over lapped. Plus After the TP2 I was curious to see what MS would bring out as their new OS. I already owned a Zune HD and loved the Metro interface. Then they announced Windows Phone. I loved it since WP7. I haven't been that interested in Android or iPhones. I'd actually consider the One though.

the 4mp camera is for a reason. It helps in low light situations. Look it up more.

This is phone is amazing. I just got this over the S4 and don't regret it at all. I don't get why the design is always compared to the Iphone's either then the lack of plastic back. Its speakers are fantastic, also love how its default comes with 32 GBs, best display yet and not just over saturated like Super AMOLED. It works lightning fast as well and so far I haven't noticed any issues in the software. I highly recommend the phone even over the S4.

It's still a 4 megapixel camera though, the UltraPixel term comes from the image sensor of the camera.

I just upgraded from the G2x to this. The camera is better. Like its not even a contest. The 4 mp is nothing since the ultrapixel sensor is what actually captures the colors and crispness of pictures

4MP isn't a disadvantage as you won't notice a difference in resolution until you go over like 1800p or something. Unless you plan taking hi res photos or blowing them up to cover your wall, the 4MP count doesn't matter at all. HTC one is a great phone.

Get this. I got mine a week ago and it's the best thing I've ever spent money on. You'll be surprised how long you spend just looking at how beautiful it is
