Joaquin Phoenix is so over talking about losing weight for roles. He dodged a question about his diet for “Joker: Folie à Deux” during the film’s press conference with Lady Gaga during the Venice Film Festival.

I was a server. It was late at night and a slow shift. All of a sudden I see a SUPER SKINNY Joaquin Phoenix with longish hair walk in and sit down with two other people. All he ordered was water but his friends ate and drank. I was completely shocked how thin he was. He was so sweet and smiley. I had a crush on him in the movie Parenthood when I was a kid so it was nice to know he was very polite and sweet but I felt so sad that he had gotten into drugs or something. A few months later the Joker came out and it made so much sense. 😂

I have been in love with him since I was a little girl. But I am so happy that he found a woman that he loves and that he has a baby now. I just wish him the best. I think he's a really sincere, honest, good person. Even when people think he's being rude, you know what? He's being genuine. He's not rude about things that he shouldn't be rude about 😆 Bless him, all his family....including all his siblings they seem like really good people, from what I can tell, and the kind of people that you would actually like to know in person. Most actors are not like that.
