Havention 2019, first timer....what did I buy?

I've been a licensed ham for about 3 years. This was my first time going to any ham radio event. I enjoyed it, mostly because I had good company the entire time. Tom, N9YO and I were hanging out, smoking cigars and getting our nerd on. Big Youtuber meetup Saturday night, met a bunch of awesome folks.

Looks like you guys had a great time! Wish I could have been there to meet you both. Ron, congrats on the new ICOM IC-7300 buddy. I absolutely love mine! First I bought a used one and then I bought a brand new since I was so impressed with it. This radio is so user friendly and loaded with useful features that you'd normally have to spend $3000-$5000 to get. I watched a few YouTube videos demoing it, played around with the settings a bit and had it tweaked to my liking in no time. Hope to catch you on the air!

Congrats on the new radio Ron!!! I guess I will stick with older technology, like my Yaesu 757gx. All that modern stuff I just can't think about if the screen goes out!! I hear a lot of good things about that radio. 73 Juddie WD8WV

Found the card you gave me when we met at the Warped Wing Brewery. I wondered whose card this was. But when I saw you on these Youtube videos, I remembered talking to you and Tom. Too bad no repeat for 2020. maybe next year!
