I have a great respect to Henry Kissinger on handling Saudi oil priced in U$ for over 50 years. If history is any guide, why can't this Fed rethink the logics behind his action. The entire world focuses on asset tangibles in the end to make ends meet. The rate hike only makes thing worse in a debt nation. It completely makes no sense. The bondholders at some point should be paid by gold, silver, copper or even a hamburger. This will erase all the inflation concern and manage the entire world peacefully. Paul Volker was extremely lucky as USA was a credit nation in 1980.
