LOVE your home theater! I'm in the early stages of mine but love the use of the soffit. I'm definitely going that direction. I will follow your other vlogs and continue my comments/questions there.

Used a GD04 case in my current build, not a big fan I'm afraid. Poor compartment layout, HD airflow and overheating issues, fan filter cleaning is a pain, screwless servicing would be nice, but, sadly absent. On the plus side, although perhaps not a big enough plus, it looks really good. Unfortunately, attractive (cheaper) cases like the Antec ASK2480 completely trounce the GD04 and will be much easier to live with in the long run.

Is there any case you would recommend instead of the Silverstone case that could hold a disk drive and two hard drives?

I use a 4 bay hot swap for my HTPC... Extremely useful if you're like me and archive everything you watch, and capture every video stream incoming into your router...

I thought I will get to see how you connect the pc to the home theater system

Hot swap bays is a great idea if you are like me, and I have a literally INSANE amount of movies and media I have collected in over 30 years!! Heck my HTPC runs 6 hard drives just for storage!! That is why I went with a full mid tower case!!! And as for "SCREWS in 2016" comment, what exactly is wrong with screws? In a lot of cases they use those cheap plastic hard drive trays that CAN break!! I personally would rather have a screw holding things together and the new cases are pretty cheaply made with extremely thin metal so the more screws you can use the stronger the cases become when you start mounting things!! so I don't know if you are too lazy to pull out a screw driver or too cheap to buy a decent set of Stanley Screwdrivers from Walmart CHEAP, but there are a LOT of things that even in this day use screws and I personal DO NOT trust a cheaply made plastic clip to hold things together like some of you kids seem to be used too!!! Plastic normally doesn't!! Unless that is you are apply pressure on it like a Congo Gorilla!! And even then metal is no make for stupidity!!

Some things i would like to see is when a content creator says things like "WD Red is a bit overkill" I wanna know why he said that.

I yesterday buyed for only 293€ components for my first HTPC. This is only for Youtube Videos and some other videos to watch on my big Plasma TV on the couch... Hope my pocessor will be strong enough to play UHD 4K too, i think it should be... It should be because my intel i5 6400 in my desktop plays 75mbit/s 4K Video with only 20% Load, and on power option balanced it goes even down to ~ 1.0 - 2, 7GHz ...

My HTPC for only 293 €:
* Fractal Design FDCANODE202BK Schutzhülle schwarz (79€)
* INTEL Celeron G3900 2, 8GHz LGA1151 2MB Cache Boxed CPU (39€)
* Asrock H110MITX Intel Mainboard (2x DDR4 retail) (64€)
* Crucial CT2K4G4DFS8213 Arbeitsspeicher 8GB (2x 4GB, 2133MHz, CL15) DDR4DIMM Kit (35€)
* be quiet! BN256 ATX PC Netzteil 300W System Power B8 80+ (35€)
* Intenso interne SSDFestplatte 128GB (40€)

There is anytime the option to add a graficcard when i woul play a pc game on my couch... Normale this configuration don't need a special cooler... I use a intel i5 6400 on my desk it never gets really warm...
