if you are getting this after installing ubuntu as dual boot, just go to windows and disable the fast startup option in power options, that's what i did and it worked for me

Hi! When I did the sudo lshw -class network, it only says product: MEDIATEK Corp. It doesn't have a product number.

After typing "sudo lshw -class network" on the terminal, It is showing:
product: Centrino Wireless-N 2200
whats should I take as the product number?

So, basically we are disabling the WiFi from power saving mode. This is the reason that it disconnects.

It worked for me and i didn't even put any product number just entered the text.
I knew some error would come while installing Ubuntu it happens always I don't understand why.
