Hey. Norwegian analog landscape photographer here, trying to see if YouTube is a good idea. Lofoten is not my usual area, but I have obviously been there some times. Lovely location and as you say rather unexplored in some areas. Another, maybe more unexplored area in the north would be Vesterålen and Andøya.

Aw well, I had to book my flights quickly to get a good deal, so I booked Narvik as a destination and will drive South to Lofoten. In January. Since there can be storms, the ferry from Bodo might not run, so I'm slightly on the safer side driving. We'll see.

Does Reinerbringen open during the winter? I’ve been there during summer and really love it. I wish I could be there again if they open during winter.

How was the ferry? I'm terrified of deep water, and I've heard that it can be very choppy. I would prefer it for the experience, but I am also worried about panicking if it's really rough.

Hi! Can I rent a car in Lofoten? Or just in bodo and travel with the car in the ferry to the islands?

Lofoten is unbelivable. The landscapes are awesome, althoug I prefer Iceland.
The only cons is the price of things in there. Since their country has a good lifestyle and wealth, stuff are pretty expensive.
