5 Reasons Why TRAVEL is the BEST EDUCATION I've Ever Had

I spent 18 years of my life in classrooms, followed by 6 years of my life traveling nonstop. There is no question that I've learned more & become wiser over the last 6 years of travel, than the previous 18 in classrooms.

The act of TRAVELING -- anywhere -- means pushing your limits, broadening your mind and expanding your knowledge.

Through visiting 136 countries, I've learned how to be independent. I've discovered hidden things about historical places. I've learned how the world works, how to appreciate other cultures, and how to use common sense to figure my way out of any situation. These life-long skills are impossible for any professor to teach.

In this video, which has clips from 37 countries, find out 5 reasons why TRAVEL is the best education I've ever had. Does anyone else out there agree with me?

Traveling is a whole lot better than sitting in a boring lecture. Thanks to traveling I was able to explore the hospitality sector and was fortunate enough to volunteer at a hostel for a short time. Besides that I previous worked at an amusement park and that was already the beginning of my passion for hospitality. Travel while working online is what I desire for in the upcoming years.

Great video! Agree with point #1 the most. There are so many times where we have to rely on ourselves and do what makes sense in the moment when we're traveling. It only makes us stronger! I would say another one for us was learning how to be healthier when traveling. Developing habits that benefit our health which we then carried over back into our home countries

I totally agree with you! After I started traveling, I realized that the street smart is more important than book smart! 👍

Hey man, love your videos! Really looking forward to your thoughts on Iran. I just went there last month and it was a real highlight among my own travel experiences. Absolutely amazing people, scenery, food, and culture. Plenty of material for videos ;)

I can’t wait to start traveling. I live in the US and have only been out of the country once (to Aruba). This summer I’m going on a cruise to Dominican Republic and Turks & Caicos. Later in the summer I’m going to Toronto.
Next summer I’m going somewhere in Europe. I think it’s either Austria or Scotland (please let it be Austria)

HEY PROTIP FROM AN EUROPEAN

Get ur arse in Norway, it's hella cool place and has the most amazing people and mountains and all the good shit. Watch out for the winter, everything is harder when it's around -30 celcius out and a meter of snow on the ground but you can go skiing and it's great.

Now assuming that ur not crazy and it's summer grab urself a bike or get a car (car is the better option), and drive to Sweden. The border stuff is not much of a hassle and from my experience you literally just drive/bike and oops ur in Sweden now. Sweden is hella litty, everything is somewhat cheap and everyone speaks enough English to understand, also everyone is atleast slightly gay or if they're not gay they are hella accepting and will probably love you and take care of you.

Now get ur ass in Stockholm and jump on a ship (yes you can take your car with you) and enjoy the 2 hour cruise 'till you are in Finland. If you play your cards well this only costs you like, 20 euros. Now Finland is also hella litty (i live in Finland, ) Everyone except old people know English pretty well but our language sounds bat shit crazy to you so don't even try to learn it. In Finland you pretty much need winter to enjoy anything, but like, in reality our Autumn is the best because it's hella pretty, there's fruit and berries you can pick and it's cold enough but no snow. (In winter we can have 2 meters of snow) Southern Finland is pretty lame so you should go in the North (LAPLAND) If it's cold enough you will see nothern lights wich is also hella cool. Everything Finns do is drink and use this beautiful thing called sauna, so go ahead and do just that. Also don't talk to Finnish people on bublic transportation. Also there's alot of reindeers here.

Okay now if you really want to you can go to Russia, but the border stuff is not easy and i prefer to go to Estonia, the sweet land of cheap alcohol. You need to just jump on a ship (with ur car) and boom ur in Estonia. Now everything is pretty in Estonia, and the city you end up in called Tallinn (or something idk what it is in English) is effing ancient and it's the best place to explore like ever so spend a few days there. It has hella good pizzerias and alot of amazing spas, and the hotels there can be really cheap if you don't stay in Tallinn.

And now go ahead and drive south from there, and explore the rest of europe in a car. This is where my pro knowledge ends, but it can't be that hard, right? Just stay away from places with political shit/wars going on and you'll be just fine. Europe is a pretty easy place to travel in, as long as you pack clothes for really effing hot weather but also freezing cold because our summers are often hot and winters really cold. Good luck
