You’re missing the point. Obeying Gods commandments requires us to die to our own will, to empty ourselves of everything so that He can fill us with Himself. This is the generosity of God. For you see, he is a gentleman, never outdone in generosity. ❤❤❤

The problem is if the world knew God, it would be held accountable to His Word and holiness.
As his illustration went, the instructions were in the cookbook how to please him (God). We don't bother understanding how pleasing God can bring us so many benefits.
Many don't want to give up self to please another. Self must come first.
