America's Guilty Plea Problem: Angela Garcia

In 2001, Angela Garcia was convicted of a 1999 house fire that killed her two daughters. Garcia’s conviction rested on circumstantial evidence and a flawed arson investigation—a forensic discipline that’s been scrutinized in recent years for lacking scientific validity. In 2016, on the eve of the hearing where Garcia planned to present evidence that she was entitled to a new trial, prosecutors agreed to a greatly reduced sentence in exchange for a plea.

I TOTALLY agree with this video that the United States has a SERIOUS Guilty Plea problmem with thousands of people taking pleas after being railroaded on poor or NO evidence and this needs to be fixed by the legislatures and courts!

The reason they gave her a option of a plea deal is because the case was weak so the made the offer smh they rail roaded her

America's Justice System: "Look, we know you didn't do it...but we have to blame someone and make money. And also, it looks good for prosecutors to get convictions. So, it's all political as well. It has never been about Justice."

Me: So, Justice has never been about Justice. Got it.

Um. Can you explain why and how one of her daughters was tied up ? I'm from Cleveland and remember this and know people who know her personally. Way more to the story. She is guilty.
