Never forget the first time I saw a salmon fly. I was marveling at this giant insect I'd never seen before when it clicked that my buddy had me grab some salmon flies before a fishing trip. Dudes must be almost extinct, I've only ever seen one that I know of and have spent a fair bit of time on fishing.

Lets scream some positivity as well, though it is important to recognize the issues occuring relating the enviroment, it is also crucial that we look forward for the benefit of future generations of anglers. Went out today in central vermont and caught six brook trout on the dark hendrickson hatch. On the same hatch last week, I caught a 19 inch wild brown trout.
