NATO exists for a reason, it represents a red line. If Russia attacks one of the Baltic countries or Poland or Romania were going to war with Russia and its ww3, but risking ww3 and nuclear annihilation for a non- NATO member, whether that be Ukraine or Finland or Georgia is ABSOLUTE MADNESS.

Why its a bad idea:
1. Russia is not really so far using its air-force a lot - we may see that change
2. There are not enough NATO bases to actually create such zone
3. All such bases would come under attack
4. It would take time to fill such bases not with just aircraft and support but air defense weapons
5. Russia has best AA defense on the planet thus we would see huge losses by NATO aircraft
6. It would certainly push Belarus into the war
7. risk of huge escalation without nukes is almost guaranteed - certainly whole central Europe would be on fire
8. it is almost certain we would see ground combat - so more troops would need to be flown
9 possibility of casualties in the 1000s or 10, 000s even without use of nukes
Need I mention that ground combat would eventually lead to possible nuclear escalation. It will be very, very hard to down step from it. Bottom line is this would not save lives - this would increase casualties by factor of 10x.

Treaty of Versailles was 'after' WWI, so the no fly sanctions implemented against Germany had to have been 'after' not 'during' WWI

NATOs only concern is that if it gets involved directly the rockets
flying above Ukraine might become nuclear. And that will make the
situation for Ukraine from catastrophic to apocalyptic. Certainly not
just for Ukraine! One more point, Mr. Zelenskiy is trying to save his
country, while risking the whole planet possibly being destroyed
completely!! Extremly irresponsible!!

Most people realize the high risk of NATO or Europe implementing a no-fly zone over Ukraine- the risk that Putin would escalate to nuclear weapons. So, it is a very delicate situation requiring much intelligence and strong leadership. Using the Cuban Missile Crisis as one possible model, one could argue that the rewards of a NFZ justify that NATO or Europe do it. Why? #1 It will save many lives. #2 - taking the bold assumption that Russia does not actually escalate to nuclear, the benefits are huge. The death count is reduced, the Russian forces are likely defeated or at least stalled indefinitely, and China get the memo saying that Democracies will be protected no matter what. Also, using the Cuban Missile Crisis model, it's possible to extrapolate that we may be able to achieve another 30-50 years of relative peace since other nuclear powers will recognize that the threat of nuclear weapon use by a Fascist leader does not prevent the Free World from standing strong.

No flyzone is the thing that would start WW3! Ukraine is not a nato member, and nato should only attack when A nato country is attacked.Thats the rule of nato..

Today the Russian occupants fired grenades at the territory of the National Research Center "Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology". (NSC KHPI).

The NSC KIPTI hosts a research nuclear facility "Neutron Source", which has 37 fuel cells in its active zone.

The destruction of the nuclear facility and the storage of nuclear materials could lead to a large-scale environmental catastrophe.

Please help Ukrainian people close the sky in Ukraine, otherwise it will never end!
