I figured it out,
If the first guy had $50 at the beginning and the second guy had $20.
They both put down $20 so it’s now 30 and 0 dollars
The first guy then puts down his 30 now it’s 0 and 0
The first guy picks up 40 and the second guy picks up 30
The first guy ends with 40 but he started with 50 so he lost $10
Ye second guy ends with 30 but stayed with 20 so he made $10

For those who don’t understand…Basically the guy thought that he gained 10 dollars because he put down 20 and got back 30, but in he actually lost 10 dollars

Actually his right here's how I explain it

So he gives him 30 and he place 20 so that's +10 for him
Then when he picks up both of the 20s while he gives the other guy 30 he got 40 but since the other guy got 40 he still earned as well creating the dollar trap
Witch if this were to be explained by someone else they would say I'm wrong at say it this way

If he gives the other guy 40 he earns 10 buuuut he grabbed 40 and he gave him 30 sooo he was -10 and thars the money trap

Guys think of it like this, 20 and 20. There’s a pool of 40 on the table. So if you consider the fact that he pays his friend 30 dollars, that’s 40-30=10

for those who don't understand : jeff and jeffree place 20 dollars (20+20=40) 40 in total, then jeff get the 40 dollars, but he placed 20, that means his 20 doesn't count because he owns that 20 dollars, so (30-20=10)he lost 10 dollars.

After much thought, I am 69% sure that the second person gains 10 dollars, and the first loses $10

Ok, so 20+20+30=$70 in total

Jeff got $40 in the end and Jeffree got $30 dollars in the end. So, in the end it's still $70.

Although, Jeff lost $10 and Jeffree got an extra $10.

Jeff's money - - $20, - $30, + $40 = -$10

Jeffree's money - - $20, + $30 = $10
