I’m ordering one of these today as a birthday present for myself! I was torn between this and the ZV-E10ii…but this just seems to be better for me despite the price difference.
I was so focused on the ZV initially, but the A6700 just kept featuring as a better choice.

This isn’t mentioned and might not be obvious to everybody but using a dummy battery instead of battery power or usb cable for livestreaming/static shots is preferable because it is a major heat source.

I went from a zve10 to a a7iii to this a6700 in a year… and man I thought I’d want the big boy full frame to look legit but man… no one actually cares haha and this camera is so damn good and I mean it

I bought the sony a6700 after years of using Sony A6000 series cameras. I also have the Sony 70-350mm, Sony 18-135mm, Sigma 10-18mm, and sigma 35mm 1.4 lenses. The camera body and four lenses fits into the Amazon Basics sling bag (very tiny). I agree with the reviewer that the camera plus lenses is a great combo. It IS heavy and bulky compared to cell phones or tiny cameras such as the RX1000 VII (or the TG 5 TOUGH camera). If you are trying to move into semi-pro/enthusiast levels for both photography and videography this is a great camera.

Currently I am using this from past 1 year and trust me its a beast, recently got into some doubts that i should buy an fx3 sinc I am shooting from past 6 years and now its time for the bug uodate but guess what last week I have used fx3 and compared footage side by side fx3 looks epic but the amount of money I have to pay is really too much also now its bit older, thanks for saving my money, Gonna do some pro work with my setup & will buy new camera may be this year or may be next. 🚀 When sony decides to launch new one.
