Loneliness in the elderly is a huge problem in the UK, especially within the elderly community. We wanted to raise awareness of this issue especially after a year full of anxiety, separation and isolation.
So we put together this short film inspired by the John Lewis Christmas Adverts to get the message across to love and look after each other this Christmas.

When you *are* that elderly person, completely alone and isolated every Xmas despite having children and grandchildren, this hits home. Thank goodness I have my animals.The only time my daughter in law will have any interest in me is when I'm dead and she wants to know how much money will be coming to her and my son.(The answer is none. Not one penny.)

I love this so much. I'm younger, but disabled, and tend to be a bit isolated socially because of that. My dog has kept me from so much despair and loneliness and sadness. He, and my beloved pug before him, are the reasons I've stuck things out. What a beautiful ad showing what that relationship can mean, especially the last few years!

The story is great, all except the ending. After all is said and done, the dog would still have jumped up in that bed--no doubt in my mind at all!!

Nice touch that the husky dog got a bed next to his human companion. I shed a tear or two over this.

I had just watched the other alternative ad and it was so sad, ... I was watching this one and thinking ''this dog better not die'' and it never and the guy is still alive so everyone's a winner, .. Good advert!
