1:04 - Needless offroadness

This isn’t really a bad thing but a strange thing
No one is offroading this thing on more than a gravel road
But it still has A/T tires
Rancho shocks
Self locking diff
Offroad mode

1:41 - No super cruise

I’d be a little surprised to see it in here
But in the 1500 we had super cruise and it was so awesome
I just want it everywhere

2:03 - It’s so big

This goes with the territory and it’s a big truck…7 foot box, crew cab
That’s kind of the point BUT
There’s a bunch of construction around my house and it was stressful navigating this thing this week
So just be aware if you ever plan to go anywhere near a city

GOOD

2:24 - The Denali details

As a millennial i’ve never been into chrome
So i’ve never been into denalis
But this one gets some dark chrome
And the interior details are awesome

3:30 - The muscle

6.6 Turbodiesel V8
470 hp
975 lbft
Allison 10 speed
Low range transfer case
About 3000 lbs of pyload here…can be almost 4000
Up to 22,000lbs of towing
I mean if you need something moved, i think i know a truck for it

4:11 - Tech

This thing has a great interior with great details
But it also has really nice tech features
Over 13 in infotainment - with google built in
Assistant, maps, etc
Wireless acp and aa
360 cameras are great
12 in digital cluster
HUD
More trailering features than I can even name

4:53 - The drive

First thing you notice driving this thing is the TORQUE
And the TURBO WOOSH
This thing makes almost 1000lbft and you can tell
But aside from the power, it still rides like an HD truck
The Allison 10 speed is pretty good, but not perfect
The Rancho shocks are still jittery when unlaiden
The seating position still towers over everything else
BUT THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE RAM
The hood is high but i have more than a 24 in slot to look through
The seating position is WORLDS better, even though the pedals dont move
The steering is SO much more organic
The brakes are way more natural and have more biting power
I mean… it took about 10 minutes for me to be like “oh yeah this is the best HD truck I’ve ever been in”

5:59 - Looks

I have to say this thing looks great too
It’s a great balance of aggressive and elegant
Love the new running lights and dark chrome face
I’ll even excuse the fact that the rest ofthe chrome is normal
BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS PAINT
Redwood metallic is the bees knees, man
Love it
This thing is massive so you’ve got marker lights on the roof
20 in wheels with A/T tires
The front fender gets the ultimate badge which is VERY involved..and we talk about it in our feature video
And then there’s the sheer LEMF of this thing
7 foot box with steps built into the sheet metal on both ends
Multipro tailgate out back
And a HUGE tailpipe to harass Priuses with…allegedly

6:59 - Rear seats

Great size
Fold up
Seatbacks open up - love
Heated rear seats
All the detailing**
Topo
Stitching & piping
Wood in door
Suede headliner
Classy
This was several grand in the BMW i7

7:31 - it’s just nice

The interior details
Stitching, piping, embossments, wood
Carpeted floor mats with patterning and with metal detailing
Sunroof
Heated and cooled seats
Leather wrapped grab handles
This is certainly the nicest interior of an HD truck i’ve been in

If you don't live in the country you may not realize we take these off road and actually do work with them, that's why GM put those capabilities in the truck. If it didn't have them I wouldn't buy it. This will be my next truck.

Wow some of the comments, geez people chill out. Overall a good review, I've test driven the truck and agree with a lot of what you said. Off road capable is a good thing, as I'll be using mine for adventures! But yeah, most trucks aren't used "as trucks" which is I think the point your trying to make. Best HD truck I've driven as well.

I hate they took out the 12 plug in. The plugs are beside coffee cup holder. Can drip in electric outlet and sort out electric computer. The dash has no place for sunglasses like 2021 truck was . Three prongs is in dash hard to get at not like 2021 where all plugs to getter not hard for wife to use computer while driving.

In general it’s a very nice truck but is lacking a few options as mentioned. NOT ONE 12v PowerPoint to be found anywhere in the cab of the truck. I find that annoying. If someone knows something IDK lemme in on the secret. Break controller and little useless square tray using up space where the DS cup holder and extra storage should be near the front of the armrest. GM lacks with the power plugs being only 400 watts vs Ford trucks having over 2000 watts. Still zero aftermarket 12v accessory switches on GM vs Ford’s.
