You hire the accountant to make sure you don’t piss your money away on bullshit.

Imagine lying and inflating income numbers to get people into a school for something they could learn at home.

Welding is a voluntary trade - 70% of the work is low-tier production welding that pays 30-50k/year. You don’t need to go to Jim bobs welding school to get ticketed either, that’s why there’s this thing called an “apprenticeship”

Accountant will make $1300 a week while working from home and only working 40hours. The welder is doing 16hr days on the road to be making $3500 a week.

I’ve never met an accountant who makes less then a welder. The accountant can also work from home 💀

I am a retired pipe weldor. I made a variety of income. Everyday was an adventure. Got to work with a few exceptional people. One was a super threaded pipe fitter. I watched and asked questions. He let me run some simple lines. Enough to know the basics. Like…”build to the union.”
There are several other major facts to know.
The other gifted fitter/weldor knew a lot about using a wet rag to get stainless pipe to move. B/c s/s pipe warps so much…a wet rag counters the warping. Much to say on this. Basically put the wet rag…opposite to the hot part. The wet rag does Not spoil the hot pipes grain structures.
I enjoyed my life in the trades. The variety of jobs/people kept the adventures coming.
Doubt accounting could match that.
Always had plenty of funds, raised two beautiful young people, paid my way through it all.

Lets compare the accountant and welder getting up off the couch at the age of 60.

It's so funny how much people and these schools hype up welding as a "rich" career choice because the reality in the field is 25-35$ hourly and a per diem from100-150$
Aluminum welding=15-20$ hourly.
Easy pipe brazing/welding=20-30 hourly.
Structural steel=15$ hourly in shop.
Structural steel=28-34$ hourly in field.
Actual pipe welding=28-34$ hourly in field.

As welder this is very inaccurate information, I make roughly 4500 a month so alittle over 1000 a week,

I started when I was 18 now 28 & getting ready to start a career in engineering. The kind of money this man is talking about only comes if you have connections & are willing to beat your body tf up for the long term. I’m not saying it’s a bad way to make a living, personally I love it, but it’s money I’m after & welding will make you pay your dues with time & damages to ur body 😵‍💫.

Too bad you cant make good money unless you work 80 hour weeks and stay up 20 hours a day, enjoy destroying your body for no reason

Guys... experienced underwater oilrig welders make this amount... You'd need to be work 80+ hours, on the road, doing dangerous jobs to get anywhere near this.

I worked with a welder that was a chemical engineer first. Simply said the money was FAR better.

I do both. I weld for a company and they lay me off every tax season and then I come right back

The accountant will still have the use of their eyes, ears, lungs and spine beyond the age of 30.

They'll also make more money.

Yes there are welders that make 6 figures a year. The overwhelming majority dont. Fuckhw even says it in the video "ONE of our past graduates..." if the number was much higher, they would be advertising it so you know it's the rarity. Remember if theres 1 million welders and 20000 of them makes 6 figures, that's still the underwhelming minority.
