Did you know All the Pioneer 2015 NEX radios have Backup camera guide lines. They are also adjustable and can be place anywhere on the screen. In this video we show you how to turn them on and adjust them. Thank and enjoy.

Good stuff! Pioneer has built-in so much utility in to their head units! About to install a 6200 and so glad I saw this video first.

Can the reverse camera guidelines move when I turn my steering wheel? Also I've a 4201 NEX and I don't see the camera backup lines only the unit back up lines.

You didn't tell us how it works as you are backing up, as to what should we see and how to adjust it to our backing up. Some of what you showed on the video was helpful and I thank you.

Hey Guys! Great video as always. I have AVH-2330 NEX head unit. Questions, should I change my parking assist lines to match the factory lines? And how accurate are the factory lines. Many Thanks! Keep up the great work!

I did not know this. I knew the Pioneer camera had no lines so I ordered a different camera. Wish I had known this.

1:46 I wanted to replace my pioneer carrozeira unit with one that is in English and has Android auto. I was however worried that I would lose the dynamic guidelines, if this was a pioneer specific feature. From this video, it's not. I was able to disable the parking assist guide and only the static guidelines disappeared. The dynamic track are still there which implies it's a camera specific feature.

So to turn off the guidelines which wires do I have to cut to use the head unit guidelines?

I just installed the MVH-2300NEX with a backup camera. The camera works great, but the menu on the head unit doesn’t have options for parking guide. I don’t mean greyed out, I mean not even there. I’m on the latest firmware. I did the install with the Maestro RR and GM5+ harness. Any ideas?

Great videos, can I retain the factory backup lines (and curves) which is more accurate than the NEX until? I have the NEX w4500 on a Ford vehicle that originally had Sync 3. Trying to keep those backup lines vs the Pioneer backup lines. Thanks.

I have a 4500, and when I back up, my camera works fine. But when I want to adjust my lines, the i can adjust them, but the camera view doesn't show when im adjusting. Is there a way to fix that so I can adjust to an image and not just guess? The camera view button gives me the same blank screen issue too!

Thanks!

If my camera has dynamic guidelines from oem rear view camera, will that still remain or will I only get solid lines?

Do the colors seem a bit faded on the backup camera for this head unit?

Hi I just got a new pioneer AVH1440NEX with the pioneer ND-BC8 back up camera. I do not have the parking assist lines my understanding the 1330 had them and the 1440 is a updated version of the 1330 I contacted Pioneer and they say all pioneer in-dash multi-media receivers introduced in 2018 are compliant with the current NHTSA guidelines and part of this compliance is the omission of the parking assist lines. Do you know why they were taken away ? This is something that seems to be a safety feature that the customer could turn on or off at there discretion but now do not have the option. Do you know why it was taken away?
Thanks Bob

4400NEX with Maestro RR. No adjustment available on either. Have $15 bumper flush camera with its own adjustable lines but they have limits before I can get to correct line angles. I spent so much money on pioneer and maestro and going crazy that can't get freaking park assist lines.

How you doing guys, sorry to bother you, I have a question referring to the back up camera, I have a pioneer 5201 that is installer and my camera is working opposite, the left is the right and the right is the left, how fixed or is anything that I did wrong, thanks again

Is there any way to connect a backup camera and connect it to a switch? This way the back up camera comes on when ever you flip the switch rather than when the car is in reverse? My reverse lights seem to not come on all the time so I was wondering if this would effect my back up camera when I install it to the 4100. Also I know no one recommends the video bypass. However, I've read that the normal parking brake bypass doesn't work on this model? Do you all have any suggestions or will you make a video on how to bypass the dvd in motion option? Thanks Love your videos!
