Excellent detailed explanation of how to properly tarp a damaged roof. I know we've both run into really poor tarped sections. I've seen them myself and I've seen your pervious video of one. The only thing I would add is if someone had the time to get cap nails delivered through the Amazon link, by all means get them through the description and support this channel. If rain is coming and you can't wait for them to be delivered, you can always get some at a hardware store. But Amazon prime might deliver them tomorrow...lol

Question for you? Full roof replacement; any advantages going with a small guy/company, vs a large established firm, other than the lower cost of the ‘little guy?’ I’m facing a whole roof replacement, as it makes little sense to use the Insurance money to fix a small portion of a roof that has less than a year of life, according to my Insurance Adjuster? You didn't say if the cap nails are water proof and how long yhe synthetic and cap nails last and if there hot dipped and if you would caulk them if so you should show us how

What if you have moss on your wood shingles bu th real problem is flashing, water vent pipe and patio roof run back on to roof the pics ass gutter that was supposed to stop the overflow just moved it to the off side roofing flashing is hit and miss so need to ask you for your just a random roofer not responsible for any kind of damage or injuries so now how can I best stop damage and water pouring onto my patio an under the shingle into my kitchen just want to reproof home and patio plus correct mistakes made by past insurance roofer repaired and replaced so good as new and Elizabeth paid out of pocket now she is past and I'm here trying to make sure I don't throw away her gift to my family includes myself 3 kids two extended families plus my mom since covid extended family would love to relocate here but won't until I can fortune do the correct thing sorry maybe TMI but you totally seem to be the one Ina handful of people who are doing things correctly and not afraid to share your knowledge
