In order to be the GOAT there’s a level of humility that’s goes into the conversation. As well as legacy and establishing yourself as an ICON. Lebron James will never ever be able to match up to Michael Jordan no matter how many super teams he assembles or how many back door deals he makes with GMs. Do yourself a favor and look at stat padding. And see what percentage of points Lebron has scored in garbage time. Say 15 points blowout either way win/loss.

MJ scored more points in his career than Lebrons first 15 seasons (36, 928 > 31, 038). MJ played 15 seasons in the NBA., Lebron has been in the league for 20+ years now. Lebron is known for having good players on his team. MJ never really experienced that (other than Scottie Pippen), yet MJ has knew rings than Lebron, even with less finals appearances(6>4). Also MJ went 6-0 in the finals in his career, While Lebron is 4-6, Just as many Finals losses as Jordan’s career finals appearances. With this being said, I think MJ is the true goat.
