“The GOAT convo is officially over!!!” That’s been said a million times.

And then 2 months later y’all gonna bring up the GOAT convo again like a broken record

“This is a man who said he’s against the play in, now he’s not even in the play in” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

When Stephen A sighed I knew he was about to go in

Tim Duncan was 38 yrs old when he beat Lebron's superteam in Miami. He didn't go out and try to avg 30, he led with playing exceptional defense and played winning basketball.

Kawhi and George missed 79 and 50 games, respectively. A combined total of 129 games.

Lebron missed 23, Westbrook missed 1, and AD missed 39 games. A combined total of 63 games.

Clippers: 39-40, 8th, 4-0 against the Lakers
Lakers 31-48, knocked out, 20-22 against teams below .500

'98 Bulls: 62-20, 1st, champions.
Pippen missed 38, Wennington missed 34, Kerr missed 32, Caffey missed 31, Longley missed 24, Kukoc missed 8, Rodman missed 2. A combined total of 169 games.

Bulls also had an average age of 32 which makes them the oldest team to win it all. 2021-22 Lakers average age: 30.

People are pointing to a 37 year old Lebron missing the playoffs and saying “this is why he’s not the goat”… are we serious?

So nice seeing everyone “keeping that same energy” about the Lakers, like LeBron asked us.

“you’re good enough to average 29 a game, how come you’re not good enough to get your troops in order so that you can be a respectable team?”

- Stephen A. Smith

💯 facts!

Not even a bron fan but he was averaging crazy numbers i think honestly it fell down to lack of chemistry and shitty role players tbh

As someone who loves both Michael Jordan and LeBron this is my opinion: The goat is whoever you want to be 😂 I refuse to waste energy which grown man is better than the other especially considering ESPN talk about it every single day

I remember what charles barkley said during an interview when asked about skip bayless "If you keep bringing up the GOAT convo and keep bringing up lebron to make yourself relevant, you ain't got talent in sportcasting." Yup!! Applies for entire ESPN as well

Can't wait to see how everyone reacts when Lebron is the all time leading scorer next season. Then he continues to put that record out of reach.

LeBron fans who consider him the GOAT for his longevity and talk about his ability at that late age.
Same Fans : Don't criticize LeBron, he's old

And then you guys wonder why Journos still talk about him? It's because you still keep it alive. Stephen A and Mad Dog been saying he isn't the GOAT for quite some time now, they're just allowed to keep bringing it up because others still make the case regardless

Last year Steph Curry had a G League player, a ball boy and a bag of chips. He still made the play in tournament.

Pelinka: “You can say this room has the greatest basketball talent assembled in recent times”
Bron: “it was exciting helping put this team together, i watch enough basketball to know what I need to do to help the club depending on the acquisitions we make per year”

No excuses we keeping the same energy too💀💀💀

Um, Jordon retired at 38 with the Wizards (this is LeBron's age), his team was 37-45 (so that is only a 9 game difference vs. .500 with where LeBron's team currently stands, and Jordan did not make the playoffs), so how is it that Jordan wouldn't let this happen? Because he already did. That year Jordan averaged 20pts, 6.1rbs, 3.8asts, 1.5stls, and 0.5blks, on 44.5% shooting, meanwhile LeBron this year so far, 29.5pts, 8.4rbs, 6.9asts, 0.9stls, 0.6blks, on 50.1% shooting. So, what is the point of this conversation, because nothing backs up what you are saying?
