How do you charge your iPhone? Thanks for watching, it is always appreciated.

iPhone XR is at 81% after 4 years. Didn't manage it, was actually very rough with it, extreme temperatures & weird charge cycles. Leaving it to manage itself really is the best option! Just ordered the 14 Pro Max as its replacement

My iPhone 7 Plus is at 82% after 4 years and I did not try to be easy on the battery at all... I am now finally upgrading to the 14 though :)

You don't play games. That's the reason.

I had 97% health with a 13 pro max for 9 months.
Used a lot of wireless charge, and original charger.
Than in 3 months it degraded 9% health…

I was a bit concerned about battery health but after watching your video I am relieved 😌 as you rightly said that we have more things in our life to worry about. It’s just a battery 🔋😅

Aaron just a correction. Any combination of 100% is as far as I know NOT 1 cycle.

Charging from 30%-80% is far less stressful for the battery than charging from 50-100% even though they are both technically 50% depth of discharge. The 30-80 would use up less ‘cycles’ than the 50-100 would use

In sayin that I agree that people shouldn't worry. Just use the damn thing and replace the battery when you feel like you're having to charge too much

That’s always been my thing. Just use your phone as you normally do and if you want to get a replacement battery the option is there. I’m using a 12 pro for little over a year and I’m on 95% battery health. I don’t worry about it too much. Only thing I do is keep it above 20%

My iPhone 12 mini's battery health is 88%. I got it in August 2021 which is roughly a year and a half ago. I'm not a very heavy phone user so it doesn't bother me too much, but I got a MagSafe battery for Christmas this year which really helps on those longer days where my phone might be at risk of dying before I can get to a charger. If you have an iPhone 12 or above I'd definitely recommend one - it's adding years to my phone's life!

Keeping my cycle at 40-80 and it's really a hassle honestly. If I'll do this, I can't keep the phone as my daily driver. I always use my 2nd android phone just because I always worry about its battery health. This video is exactly what I need to hear. Thanks!

My iPhone 12 Pro Max is about 22 months old now. By the time it was 12 months old, my battery health was down to 86%, which seemed not great. I’ve kept an eye on it because once it dropped below 80% I could get the battery replaced under AppleCare. But 10 months later the battery health is still at 86%. Weird, but I’m not complaining. I plan to keep the phone one more year, so we’ll see how the battery holds up.

I've been a day one Android fan and I recently (a few months ago) got a 13 Pro Max. How I use and charge the 13 Pro Max compared to my Pixel 6 Pro is like night and day... no, more like summer and winter. I use my Pixel more for work and the iPhone for downtime at work (watching YouTube, listening to music, etc.) and I've come to appreciate the hard work Apple has put into the iPhone hardware and software, especially in comparison to what Google (and other Android OEMs) has done with Android, though I'm not saying that Google hasn't done a lot since Android 1.0 because they have. I just wish they would do what Apple has done and focus more into efficiency and performance and less on eye candy.

Quality advice as always Aaron! I personally also use wireless charging (Belkin), it’s just more convenient and I do exactly what you do - on the charger at night and let optimised charging do it’s thing 👍

Just got the 14 pro a little over a week ago. This video definitely did help me a lot, because I wanted to ensure the battery health overall lasted long especially after I got it out of the bo Definitely will practice good charging habits, but overall I will be less paranoid about battery health after watching this

I play games and I also had my phone for 2 years, the secret is to charge it to 30% only and always use low power mode it’s very healthy for the battery, however my battery gets very hot.

100% iPhone 13 pro max since January, 20w wire cable charge sometimes 5w(rarely) i never dropped under 20%, often 30% charge till 100 or 80, 70, sometimes 90% around there its enough. About 120 cycles, Battery life is a beast on this device 😀

The iPhone 13 Pro max has been the best phone I’ve had where battery is concerned ! I’ve had the 13 pro max since launch last year and just last week my battery percentage dropped to 99%…… it held 100% for 11 months, which is Awesome ! As for my iPhone 12 Pro the year before the battery percentage was down to 90% in under 6 months !

I recently got an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the battery has been so good that I've found I no longer need to leave it charged overnight. I usually only use around 50% of the phone's battery per day which is really impressive. Often only 40%, sometimes 60% depending what I'm doing. I did see somewhere about the 40-80% thing so I've been sticking to that most of the time but only because it's been really easy for me with the huge battery. So I'll usually charge my phone before I go to bed to around 80-90 then take it off and put it on low power mode + DND/ sleep mode and it barely uses any juice by the time I wake up. Then I go about my day and I have a shortcut that turns low power mode on automatically from 60% and below. I often forget to turn low power mode off from the night before so most days it's on all the time, and I haven't really noticed a difference except that the screen dims faster. I agree with what you're saying though and I may try to care less now about how much attention I've been putting into my phone battery! I really love my 13 Pro Max but it's honestly a little too big and heavy for me.... Love love love the battery size and camera though. It's a worthy trade I think. I love never having to worry about bringing a charger or power bank with me anywhere anymore. The 13 Pro Max is a BEAST!

For me they almost always stay at 100% for the first year, then they start going down. For my current nearly 2 year old 12 Pro Max bought on launch day, it was 100% until the next major OS update, then it started going down. It's almost 2 years old now and its 91%, at 183 cycles.

I charge it every night from an anker multiport charger, which does 2.1A current max, so I think thats equivalent to something like a 12W old iPad charger.
