I think you could have spent more time talking about the advantages of having the 80kW electric motor in addition to the petrol engine. It really does improve torque and acceleration.

I think it's Toyota comparison is the Yaris cross. If your trying to compare dimensions and interior space. Also I think this reviewer is being over-complimentary. It really is small inside. And using the under-floor ( where the tyre used to be) as part of trunk size, is a bit of a stretch.

$63k seems a bit ambitious, but i just priced out the ux full ev variant, and its $25k dearer. my configuration came out at $88k. surely batteries dont cost $25k given they are the same car? i think lexus australia are just charging because they can : )

Is this the Lexus equivalent to the Corolla Cross? Which model falls in line with the Rav4?

We bought the base model specifically to avoid the stupid wheels and tyres. Lexus = luxury so why mess it up with some pretension of Sport. Nothing sporty about the UX so the base model is a better car regardless of the price. Flappy paddles are as pointless as the sliding dash.
We went ICE as most of our driving is long distance country so didn't see the point of lugging around the extra technology. We average 5.9l/100km so I would expect the hybrid should do a fair bit better than that.
We replaced a current model Leaf with the UX and the UX is way quieter and comfortable. The Leaf is fabulous around town, the UX smashes it in the country. Great tourer for 2 people, not a family car as the boot is a joke.

I don't know how the hell you are getting 7. My average is 4.8 and I've been driving hybrids for 5 years.
