I grew my own oyster mushrooms and battered and fried them. Better than any chicken tender I’ve over tasted. They were SO good and tender

i haven't fried enoki mushrooms, but fried oyster mushrooms are incredibly good for making chicken replacements too. for me, they're easier to find

I haven’t been able to find any good vegan chicken bullion/stock so if there’s any good recommendations I’d appreciate it. I usually just end up using the knorr vegetable bullion and that’s been my favorite but it doesn’t taste like chicken 😂

Love it! These look awesome! If you take the extra time to work the breading into the mushroom tendrils and swish the tops around in the oil a bit before you drop them in you can get more separation and more crunch, but these still looked delicious and got the pass of approval!

Maybe also try using the "chicken of the forest" mushrooms! You can find them on fallen logs etc they kinda grow like multi level platforms and are a kinda bright orange on the outside and a paler orange/cream on the inside, always reference articles and pictures thoroughly before actual consumption though(but ive never heard of any it can be mistaken for)
